The FRENCH KiSS hat is worked in the round seamlessly from the bottom up. First you work the brim in 1x1 rib. Then you work the body in dip st pattern. The crown is then shaped by decreases.

GAUGE
28 st x 40 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in 1x1 rib pattern on smaller needle size after blocking (or 24 sts x 40 rnds in dip stitch pattern on main needle)

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
Main needle: 3.25 - 3.5mm (US3-4) (depending on your gauge) 40 cm (16”) circulars and DPNs for the crown (or longer circular needles for magic loop)
Smaller needle: 3 - 3.25mm (US3-4) 40 cm (16”) circulars
