Fragmentation Sweater
When you purchase this pattern you get the Fragmentation Hood pattern for FREE!
Choose a colorful palette of DK weight yarn to knit this playfully geometric top-down sweater. The yoke is composed of eight wedges that are knit while being attached to the previous wedge. There is no seaming because you modularly knit the sections together. The sample features eight colors for the yoke and a main color for the body and sleeves. You can easily customize the length of the yoke, body, and sleeves while trying on the sweater as you knit. Gather some deliciously soft wool like West Wool Tandem and enjoy this fun and easy to knit sweater design!

The smaller sizes feature fewer Contrast Colors (CC) in the Yoke. I recommend knitting 6 (6, 6, 7, 8) (8, 8, 8, 8] stripes in each wedge of the Yoke, so you will need 6 (6, 6, 7, 8) (8, 8. 8, 8) CC’s for the garter stitch yoke stripes.
Needles
US 5 / 3.75mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or 1 size smaller than the larger main needle
US 6 / 4mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or size needed to obtain gauge
The Magic Loop method is used for knitting smaller circumferences in the round. Watch this Westknits video to assist with the Magic Loop technique.
