Knit yourself a colorful hood with your DK weight color pops! This cozy layering piece begins with the striped garter stitch panels. They are knit flat in three sections. The third section is attached seamlessly to the previous two sections while its being knitted. Once you complete the garter stitch hood, you will pick up sts around the bottom for a twisted rib neckline followed by an I-cord bind off. The final section features a stockinette stitch folded hem that is picked up around the edge of the hood. The sample features eight contrast colors and one main color shown in a neon pop. Use as many colors as you like to make this playful hood and layer it with your favorite sweaters and cardigans.

Finished Measurements
19″ / 48cm neck circumference (ribbing unstretched), 21″ / 53cm around face from edge to edge, 15″ / 38cm tall from neck edge to top of hood (measured flat). Measurements taken after blocking.

The 1x1 ribbed neck stretches comfortably up to 22″ / 56cm.
