Fold Down
Fold Down is basically a rectangle shawl but folded down along a diagonal line its shape becomes easier to wear as it is more narrow around your neck. The shawl is easy to knit but keeps you entertained with switching between stockinette and reverse stockinette stripes.
Choose your favorite colors, no matter how many. The directions indicate the number of rows for a three-colored and a five-colored version but you can easily adapt it to you own desired stripes sequence.
Yardage
Shawl three-colored version: 1 skein or 200 meters/220 yards of a yarn that gives you gauge, each of C1 and C2, and 3 skeins or 600 meters/660 yards of a yarn that gives you gauge, of C3.
Shawl five-colored version: 1 skein or 200 meters/220 yards of a yarn that gives you gauge, each of C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5.
Sample shown in three-colored version: C1 colorway 5, C2 colorway 4 and C3 colorway 2.
Every knitter knits differently, therefore yardage is an estimate.
