Flow socks
The Flow socks are knitted cuff-down
and are designed to be both enjoyable to
knit and comfortable to wear. Worked
in DK-weight yarn, they offer a slightly
thicker fabric that is perfect for everyday use. The
socks begin with an optional Tubular Cast-On,
which creates a beautifully stretchy edge that
appears to roll seamlessly to the inside of the cuff,
giving a clean and refined finish.
A wave-like cable pattern, accented with a few
delicate lace eyelets, runs over the front of the foot
and continues along the back above the heel, adding
texture and visual interest without overwhelming the
design. The socks provide relaxing, rhythmic knitting
for more experienced knitters, while also being well
suited for those who want to build confidence in
cable knitting and explore new techniques.
The heel is worked in a reinforced stitch pattern
for added durability, and the round French
heel ensures a comfortable, well-balanced fit.
Instructions include adjustments for higher
insteps, allowing the socks to be easily customized
for different feet.
