Firefly Cardigan
This pattern is from the book Crochet in Color which is also available as an eBook.
An unusual color is enough to make a flattering shape stand out. When I saw this green-yellow laceweight wool/silk yarn in a store in Philadelphia, I thought all it needed was some interesting shaping to make a pretty cardigan. It is tightly gathered at the waist in one spot on the back and each side of the front with nicely shaped armholes and a slight puff on the sleeves. A narrow lace pattern fills the edging and collar, and only half-double crochet is needed to work the body.
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle; straight pins; seven 3⁄8” (2 cm) round buttons.
