From Pattern Introduction: These sporty socks are modeled after a pair of long stockings housed in the National Museum of Finland. The heel flap in these socks is reinforced with the heel stitch and this reinforcement continues into the Dutch Heel. The Double-Decrease Toe makes a narrow line on each side of the foot. These socks have unisex sizing. Add or subtract rows between the end of the ankle decreases and the beginning of the toe shaping to lengthen or shorten the leg and foot as needed.
