“Fingerslip” is the polite version of the term used in our GIS mapping business for a typo. Fingerslip Mittens allow the wearer to use a finger or two to adjust a zipper, use a phone or focus a camera. I designed these mittens for winter hiking so that I could adjust my clothes or gear without dropping anything. The pattern includes a couple of features from Level 2 of The Knitting Guild Assocation’s Master Hand Knitting Program HK program: the pocket attachment and the top half of a one-row buttonhole. The pattern is somewhat forgiving for a slightly different gauge. Do the math and find the closest size.
