Thank you!
Meet my new favorite pair of crocheted fingerless gloves.
What makes them my favorite, you might ask?
The prominent design elements include:
-
Delightful lace ruffles at the wrists;
-
A playful, speckled yarn that’s surprisingly affordable for a handpaint;
-
An ultra-simple crochet mesh stitch that makes up most of the gloves;
-
And pretty ribbons tied in bows at the wrists.
If a lacy doily and a pair of wrist warmers got married and had twins, this is what they might look like.
This is an easy crochet pattern. It’s also a one-skein project.
The pattern has been tested and professionally tech edited.
The suggested yarn for this pattern is Hawthorne Speckle. It's a fingering weight wool / polyamide blend manufactured by Knit Picks.
If you want to crochet your own pairs of ruffled fingerless gloves just like these, there are two ways to get your hands on the pattern:
-
I just released it as a standalone digital download. This version is a PDF that includes international symbol crochet charts; a schematic; written-out text instructions in US English; and color photos of my sample projects.

This pattern was originally published in Delicate Crochet by Sharon Hernes Silverman. Stackpole Books is the publisher of this title.
You’ll find this fingerless gloves pattern included in the book, along with 22 other delightfully drapey, lacy, flirty, wearable projects. The crochet projects included in Delicate Crochet are sweaters, tops, shawls, wraps, scarves, a necklace and even a lacy, feminine crocheted skirt.
The other contributors to the book are some of the rock stars of crochet:
- Sharon Hernes Silverman;
- Kristin Omdahl;
- Robyn Chachula;
- Marty Miller;
- Vashti Braha;
- and others.
I think you’re going to be excited about this book when you see the amazing projects it includes.
The book also includes helpful step-by-step photo tutorials which could help you better understand how to crochet these projects.
If you’d like to read more of my thoughts about the crochet projects included in this book, check out my preview of *Delicate Crochet,* which is posted at KnittingCrochetCrafts.com.
Thanks so much for your interest in my patterns and your interest in this book. I really appreciate it.
