An airy scarf or stole featuring an allover filigree motif with texture and depth that pops in a springy lace yarn. A handpainted colorway is put to good use in this pattern, where it will highlight the undulating motif. While the pattern is visually complex, the stitchwork is not difficult, with wrong side rows almost entirely in purl. It’s a great choice for a beginner/intermediate lace knitter or a more experienced knitter looking for something to relax with. Stole is worked in one piece, but may be worked in two halves and grafted at the center back for a more symmetrical appearance.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.
