Ficklebeanie
fickle* (adjective): changing frequently, especially as regards one’s loyalties, interests, or affection.
It’s okay to be fickle when you knit this fun, reversible hat. You can wear it however your fickle little self feels like. This cozy project is knit from those sock yarn scraps you know you have, and is double-layered for extra warmth.
One side of the hat is ribbed, one side is smooth stockinette. You can pull the hat down low or wear it further back for a slouchy look. If you feel like having a ribbed edge, simply roll out a little reverse side ribbing to frame your face when wearing the smooth side out.
This is a pretty easy hat. Skills you need are: knitting in the round, stockinette, ribbing and a little patience. It does take a bit longer to knit than a standard hat since it is really 2 hats.
So, grab those sock yarn/fingering weight yarn scraps and get going. If you need more colorful sock yarn scraps, check out Yarn Nuggets.
