Falling Cherries
by Rose Beck
The third shawl of New Lines, a collection inspired by Art Nouveau released between Nov 2012 and Feb 2013. The full collection can be purchased at a discounted price; updates are sent when a new pattern is added.
This sweet triangle shawl continues the Art Nouveau themes of nature and organic movement. Textured “cherries” cascade downward to spreading leaves, accompanied by bold columns with a simple eyelet pattern. The shawl is knit top-down in cozy sport-weight wool, and two sizes are provided.
Both charted and written instructions are used; all charts have line-by-line instructions. Skill level: intermediate to advanced.
