Inspired by the brightly colored candies from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, the Everlasting Gobstopper Shawl features fun textural bumps in bright colors, worked in a slip-stitch pattern, as well as multiple garter-stripe rows. The shawl is worked back and forth from the short end. It is shaped by the use of increases and decreases on each end of every right side row. It is suitable for an advanced beginner who knows how to knit, purl, slip stitches, knit 2 together and knit into the front and back of a stitch.

You will need approximately 100 yards of six colors of fingering-weight yarn to complete the shawl as written. Note that the MC takes almost all of this yardage, so you may wish to purchase extra as insurance.

This pattern (as well as a matching kit with yarn to knit the project) is an exclusive to Steven Be and is available by contacting his shop.
