Elżbieta
Dedication
For my wonderful Polish friend and fellow designer, Elżbieta Sroczyńska. Not only does Elżbieta design fantastic crochet patterns, she also performs Renaissance dances. This pattern hopes to capture the feel of that time period.
Description
This is a either a hooded cape or a square. This pattern is for advanced crocheters.
There are photos, charts, and written instructions.
Yarn:
I suggest KoKonki Motki Ombre. They have a variety of gradient cakes in cotton, cotton acrylic, cotton acrylic shine, soft acrylic, pure merino, and merino. You can even design your own colourway.
They also have a range of Scheepjes and YarnArt Flowers, which would also be suitable for this project.
Available online at kokonki.pl. #kokonki #kokonkimotkiombre
My project:
My hooded project uses 3350m of KoKonki (across two colour ways, Classic A375 and A341) in 4 ply. I used a 3.5mm hook. My completed square measures 140cm on the side, and 150cm on the diagonal. The square version would have the same dimensions, but use less yarn.
