A gentle breeze blows across the lake. Deep steel blue. Puffy white clouds. Warm shades of greens. A touch of golden yellow. And wonderfully illuminated droplets taking hundreds of hues as the rainbow gradient shifts from red to violet. Truly mesmerizing. Witnessing all those gorgeous shimmering colors is a real wonder. After a shower, the sky can be beautifully dark too, and at the same time, sunbeams color the landscape with a warm glow.
Dúha means rainbow in Slovak. The Dúha shawl is an elegant lace shawlette sporting two delicate lace patterns reminiscent of birds in flight and flowers opening to the sky after the rain. The shawl curls asymmetrically, enhancing the playful effect of the gradient yarn.
Come join the colorful fun and hypnotize your friends in style with your own Dúha!
For best effect, use a round yarn with good stitch definition. Yarn weights ranging from fingering to DK would be suitable. As for colorways, I would recommend a smooth gradient, solid, semi-solid, speckled, or gradient set.
Please check at the bottom of the page for tips on yarn substitution and customization options.

Here are some suggestions for a few specific yarns (in no particular order). Choose a round yarn without halo or fluff and good stitch definition. Please plan your substitution and check the put up and fiber content before buying (cotton and alpaca are heavier than wool for example):
