Downeaster Toque
Snowy days on the Maine coast are a monochrome study in shifting shades of gray and black—the shapes are definitely on the triangular side, with pointy spruce and firs, rocks weathered by waves and wind, and islands, headlands and lighthouses fading into the distance.
This toque is perfect for a wintry day outdoors, with a double brim lined in mohair and stranded colorwork to keep your head nice and toasty. Just ask anyone who spends time outside in Maine—keeping your head warm keeps the rest of you warm!
