Lucy’s Christmas Stocking will make any little child in your clan very happy on Christmas morning! It’s a nice roomy sock with plenty of space for all the goodies! This stocking knits up quickly at a comfortable gauge and will be done before you know it. I love knitting Christmas stockings—the only socks where you just need to make one! The pattern includes both an upper and a lower case alphabet chart, along with numbers and a sample Lucy chart with date as an example. There are 2 blank charts for you to use for personalizing your stocking (If your child’s name has no “below the line” letters this space is 2 rows narrower). The features of this sock include a turned over lined cuff with picot edging, a short-row heel and and a grafted wedge toe, along with a variety of Nordic colorwork motifs. Instructions also include an I-cord for hanging the stocking.
