A Center-Out Shawl Pattern in 3 Acts

-Color A: 2 skeins of the purple colorway “Sophia P”.
-Color B: 1 skein of the pinkish colorway “Rose N”.
-Color C: 1 skein of the minty goodness colorway “Dorothy Z”.
• Add an extra skein of any color and feel free to add extra knit/purl rounds for a garter border and larger shawl.
• Any DK will do, though I wouldn’t marle yarns together for this one, unless you can make sure Color C has contrast from Colors A and B. lol

The Backstory:
I’m a huge Pokémon fan. I’m also a huge Golden Girls fan. Welcome to the merger of those two worlds. Enough said?
No.
I wanted to design a shawl starting from the center out back in 2019 or so. It’s been a minute…I tested the shawl and promptly went into a hiatus during the beginning of covid. This is one of my brightest, most jovial shawls, thanks to the bobble and textured lace…and a couple of short rows. The shawl sat in my drawer, peaking out at me from a sea of navy, black, and gray, and I kept thinking, I gotta get to releasing this one.
And so here we are, the end of 2023, and I’ve happily gotten to it. The Lemonade Shop custom colorways are truly special, and I’m grateful for Heather and her patience while I got my stuff together!
Side note: sometimes you need to escape a bit, cut yourself a little slack, and reprioritize what you want in life before you go full steam ahead again. Aka, I’m now designing like a madman, and will be releasing any unreleased patterns over the next couple months, peppering in some truly new ones. Stay tuned! :)
