Dashes & Cables is a raglan pullover, worked in the round from the bottom up and slightly cropped in length. There are a few short rows at the back of the neck and above the back lower edge to give a relaxed and comfortable fit. The sleeve cuffs are split with an optional button closure for an added tiny bit of interesting detail. The sweater is designed to be worn with 4” to 6” of positive ease for an easy, relaxed fit.

My inspiration for Dashes & Cables comes from a favourite cable of mine discovered many years ago. I always felt that the cable would work nicely repeated across in a lower band complimented by light texture.

Choose the size that is 4” to 6” / 10 to 15 cm larger than your actual bust measurement. 4” of positive ease will give you a classic fit.

GAUGE:
22 sts and 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4.00 mm (US 6) needles.
21.5 sts and 35 rows = 4” / 10 cm in dash stitch pattern on 4.00 mm (US 6) needles after blocking.

NEEDLES:
4.00 mm (US 6) 24” / 60 cm, and 32” / 80 cm (or longer for larger sizes) circular needles or size needed to obtain the gauge.
Set of DPNs 4.00 mm (US 6)
One pair 4.00 mm (US) needle for sleeve cuff.
Alternatively, you can use the Magic-Loop method to knit in the round using a long circular needle.
3.25 mm (US D-3) crochet hook for optional button closure on sleeve cuffs
