The kitty toes colorwork design can be put
anywhere you would like to have it. The below
pattern gives instructions for where I located the
colorwork pattern in the cowl.

Any leftover yarn can be used on the top and
bottom borders of the project to increase the
width (stripes would look cute!)

I used a locking stitch marker to mark the 5 border
stitches at each end, it made for less counting!
