Add some sweetness to teatime with a Cupcake Tea Cosy. This is an easy make, using knits and purls to create texture and simple increases and decreases for shaping. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this cosy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/276m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, pins for making up, and a little toy filling to stuff the cherry.

SIZES
One size only - The cosy is designed to fit a standard 6 cup teapot (approximately 15cm diameter x 17cm tall).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
