DESCRIPTION
Coral Wave is a pullover with an elegant neckline and stunning textural details, worn as a boxy short-sleeved top or as a fitted sweater with cozy, ribbed sleeves contouring along the arms. Decorative raglan lines flow seamlessly into simple eyelet side panels, forming a flattering overall frame for the shoulders and body. Seamless construction, combined with rhythmically varied stitches and lace details, provides visual and tactile enjoyment during the making, with an easy-to-wear yet memorable wardrobe staple in the result. Compound raglans and short-row shaping enhance the fit and ease of movement. Body and sleeve lengths are adjustable per the wearer’s preference.

SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) to fit wearer with a bust circumference of:
30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)” (76 (86, 96.5, 106.5, 117, 127, 137, 147, 158) cm)
Choose the size with +5-12.5” (13-32 cm) ease for your upper bust circumference. If between sizes, choose the smaller size. For a less boxy and more fitted silhouette, choose a needle size that provides slightly tighter gauge.
Samples shown in Size 2 with approx. +8” (20 cm) ease.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Suggested main needle: US 3 (3.25 mm) to US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles or needle size to meet gauge, with 16” (40 cm) cord and 32” (80 cm) cord or longer

Tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holders
Stitch markers (8 raglan markers, 1 distinct marker for beginning of round, plus additional markers for pattern stitch repeats)

GAUGE (after wet blocking)
26 sts and 34 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Yoke Chart pattern with the main needle, blocked
24 sts and 33 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch with the main needle, blocked

For slightly less ease in the body or smaller neck opening, or to obtain a cozier fabric, aim for a slightly tighter stitch gauge.

CONSTRUCTION
Coral Wave is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round. Raglan increases with textured details continue to armhole depth, followed by short row shaping. Sleeve stitches are put on hold and underarm stitches are cast on to join front and back to complete the body in the round. Sleeve sts are joined in the round with stitches picked up from underarm edge and worked to desired length.
