These socks are knit with vertical Color Loops purled over a stockinette background. The loops hang from the front of work and are easy to manage: no bobbins, a predictable pattern, and no weaving in at the end! The sock itself has additional stretched ease with side panels of 1x1 ribbing to enhance the fit. The heel has one or two little surprises which also may provide improved fit for all sizes. Please refer to the charts after reading the pattern. The charts show the pattern with colors and symbols, with abbreviated written explanations in the key.

What are Color Loops? Loops that hang down vertically that you work on select rows.
