Clacks Cardi
The Clacks cardi is a very simple, wearable cardigan. Nothing fancy but something you can live with - just like the Wee County of Clackmannanshire!
This is a seamless top-down pattern made with lovely soft lambswool. The border is knitted on at the end with a simple garter slip stitch pattern using a contrast colour. Instructions are included for modifying the fit, including overall length and sleeve length.
Needles: 3.25mm - 100cm circular (the sleeves can be made using the 100cm circular for magic loop or you use DPNs or a 40cm circular). The edging is knit in the round.
Tension - 27 sts per 10cm
Sizes and yarn requirements:
32” - 5x50g main colour plus 1x20g contrast
36” - 6x50g main colour plus 1x20g contrast
40” - 7x50g main colour plus 1x20g contrast
44” - 7x50g main colour plus 1x20g contrast
48” - 8x50g main colour plus 1x20g contrast
52” - 9x50g main colour plus 2x20g contrast
56” - 10x50g main colour plus 2x20g contrast
The sample is shown in Granite with Loch Ore as a contrast.
