Childeric's Bees
This design was inspired by the golden bees uncovered in the tomb of Childeric (king of the Franks ~457-481). I’ve added a few flowers at the top of each bee.
This pattern is a long curving scarf/shawl made up of wedge-shaped repeats. The length can be adjusted by changing the number of repeats. The sample scarf has 14 repeats, but 11 would make a good-sized scarf that would hang nicely around your neck.
Instructions are both written and charted.
This pattern was the subject of my 2012 Tour de France KAL.
