Your alarm clock goes off and you begrudgingly try to find the snooze button through sleepy eyes. Your flannel sheets and down comforter feel like an embrace from an old friend and you just can’t seem to pull yourself away. That is, until your significant other shows up with breakfast in bed and the smell of your favorite brand of coffee fills the air. He really went the extra mile; the serving tray is complete with a bud vase of fresh cut garden flowers and the most cheerful little coasters you have ever laid eyes on. A smile graces your face and you’re ready to greet the day.

Due to the popularity of my original Swanky Chicken Trivet pattern, I decided a sequel was needed and this charming coaster set was born. The pattern includes instructions on how to make the egg coasters and a small chicken coaster to complete the set. Finished coasters will measure approximately 4-5” in diameter. I can’t get enough of these adorable little chickens!

Pattern is written in standard US crochet terms.

Necessary crochet skills: This is an intermediate level pattern. You should be comfortable working in the round and rows. MR, ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr. Doing color changes and some basic sewing.
