Les chaussettes Poséidon se tricotent de la cheville à la pointe. On commence par le bord côtes après lequel on introduit le motif créé par un jeu de mailles endroit et envers (assorti à celui du pull du même nom). Une fois la hauteur de cheville désirée atteinte, on tricote le talon à gousset en allers-retours, avant de reprendre le travail en rond pour tricoter le pied. La pointe de la chaussette est fermée avec un grafting.

Poseidon socks are worked cuff-down. You start with the ribbed cuff and you then set-up the textured pattern featuring knitted and purled stitches matching the sweater with the same name. When you’ve reached the desired leg height, you work the gusset heel back and forth before resuming working in the round for the foot. The sock toe is closed with a grafting.
