Cha-Ching Mitts
by Laura Nelkin
How about some fitted fingerless mitts with a reverse stockinette stitch thumb gusset, and modified beaded Coin Stitch ribbing? Choose a durable yarn that can withstand the extra friction of the beads; keep this in mind if you choose to make the Cha- Ching Tam in the same yarn.
Your head and hands just have to match sometimes, don’t you think? I loved the stitch I developed for the Cha-Ching Tam so much I had to design mitts with it as well. I also wanted to work with size 8 delica beads, a tubular- shaped bead that shows up perfectly on the stitch.
