A mitered square is the center of this triangular shawl. Starting with a provisional cast on, it’s knit from the outside in and thanks to clever beginning/end of round placement, the stripes are 100% jogless.
The wings can be knit in a single color or in stripes. Or you can stashbust and throw in random stripes or bursts of color, if you want. The large wingspan makes this a perfect scarf to wrap around your neck and keep you warm, while the drapey frabric created by the lose gauge also makes it a great shawl to wear over your shoulders.
The i-cord bind off around the entire shawl gives it a finished look.

Gauge: 19 sts/36 rows=10cm/4” in garter stitch (relaxed after blocking) – although gauge is not critical, it will influence the size of your finished shawl!

Needles: US 6/4 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Notions: tapestry needle, crochet hook, 1 stitch marker, 4 split-ring stitch marker, stitch holder/waste yarn/spare cable, about 9 m waste yarn for provisional cast on

Ein von außen nach innen gestricktes Quadrat bildet das Zentrum dieses Dreieckstuchs. Durch die Platzierung des Rundenanfangs entstehen keine Treppchen im Übergang der Streifen.
Die Seiten können gestreift oder einfarbig gestrickt werden, oder man verwertet Reste und verteilt wahllos Streifen. Ein i-cord in Kontrastfarbe rundet das Tuch ab. Es ist lang genug, um es mehrmals um den Hals zu wickeln und schön kuschelig warm zu bleiben, oder man wirft es locker um die Schultern an einem kühlen Abend.
Ein Farbtupfer und Hingucker ist es auf jeden Fall!

Anmerkung: Du hast vielleicht bemerkt, dass die Streifen im abgebildeten Schal Treppchen haben. Das Muster wurde nach einer älteren Version gestrickt und das Strickmuster wurde geändert, um diese Treppchen zu eliminieren!
