Campbellford ‘From a Farm’ Mittens are a pair of colourwork mittens made from two colours of local farm wool and are knit in the round using the magic loop method.

Featuring a gusseted thumb and twisted rib cuffs, these mittens are perfect for keeping your hands snuggly warm. One size fits most adults. Suitable for intermediate to advanced knitters.

Knit using 3.75mm (US 5) circular knitting needles, 80 cm (32”) long.

Campbellford Mittens are knitted with approx. 50 g/120 yards of each of two colours of DK weight yarn from Shepherd’s Hill Farm. It is Shepherd’s Hill Northumberland, a 70% lambswool, 20% alpaca, 10% mohair blend.

Created by Toronto textile artist Bree Zorel and Campbellford farmer Grace Clare of Shepherd’s Hill Farm, these adorable “From a Farm” wool mittens are great for someone interested in a bit of colour work with very soft, premium wool fibre. They are a beautiful representation of the Oak Ridges Moraine bio-region.
