This wonderful little square highlights the new Calypso Crab pattern from the 2018 Mermaid CAL blankets.

The finished, blocked size is 9.5” x 9.5” using DK weight yarn.

It works up wonderfully in a DK weight yarn, but you could certainly use a larger weight yarn with a larger hook and make bigger squares.

Sew these squares together to make cushion covers or afghans or beach blankets. I can’t wait to see all your fun, tropical Summer projects!!
