SIZES:
4-Color Beach Version: 80” W x 33” L (203 cm x 84 cm)
2-Color Version: 74” W x 30” L (188 cm x 76 cm)
MATERIALS:
Expression Fiber Arts Luster Sport or Mirage Sport yarn
The four-color sample shawl was made with our Beach Vibes Hues Luster Sport kit. This sample used approximately 800 yards (732 m) total, and approximately 200 yards (183 m) were used per color.
The two-color version used our Milky Way Galaxy Mirage Sport and Nestled Mirage Sport. The two-color version used all of both skeins (700 yards/640 m total), so gauge is very important for this version.
If those colors aren’t available, any from this category or this category will work.
NEEDLES:
US 7 (4.5 mm) 40” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate - This pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include Mosaic knit stitch, Moss stitch, knit front and back, and Picot bind off.
Notes From the Designer:
Abiding love is mysterious and glorious! The Brontë sisters’ writings give us, the reader, the ability to delve into deep and meaningful lasting love. Their stories open the reader to what it means to love deeply, to abide, to continue, to remain, to survive, to last, to persist and stay, and to keep those that you love close and never lose faith in the possibility to find that kind of love. There is no pretense in their stories of longed for love. Like a warm and cozy blanket, so too will this shawl evoke and elicit the feeling of being wrapped in deep and abiding love.
