4 (4, 5, 5, 6) (6, 7, 7) hanks of Corrie Worsted by La Bien Aimée (75% Falkland Corriedale, 25% Gotland wool, 250 yds / 230 m – 100 g), colourway Coquelicot.2 (2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 3, 3) hanks of Mohair Silk by La Bien Aimée (70% mohair, 30% silk, 547 yds / 500 m – 50 g), colourway Aimée’s Flashy Lipstick.

The red sample is worked with both yarns held together.

If you decide to use another yarn, you will need approx. 1140 (1280, 1420, 1560, 1850) (1990, 2130, 2270) yds / 1040 (1170, 1300, 1430, 1690) (1820, 1950, 2080) m of DK or worsted-weight yarn.

Needles: US 7 / 4.5 mm 32” or 40” / 80 or 100 cm circular needles (for body and sleeves), US 5 / 3.75 mm 32” or 40” / 80 or 100 cm circular needles (for hem, cuff and pockets) and an extra US 7 / 4.5 mm needle (for 3-Needle Bind-Off).

Notions: Two pieces of waste yarn of about 12” / 30 cm in a contrasting colour, stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn.

GAUGE
For Body
17 sts x 28 rds to 4” / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in Stockinette Stitch in the rnd, after blocking.

For Pockets
19 sts x 32 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 5 / 3.75 mm needles in Stockinette Stitch knitted flat, after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is worked from bottom to top, first in the round and then flat for the front and back. A slipped-stitch rib runs up the sides of the sweater. The shoulders are joined with a 3-Needle Bind-Off. Patch pockets are knitted separately and attached using the Mattress Stitch Method. You can also leave out the pockets, as in the red sample.
