Blocky Coaster/Potholder
This pattern uses no picking up of stitches, breaking of yarn, or seaming of any kind! Have some fun with short rows while knitting a coaster, or a potholder if you want to take it beyond the quick knits limit, then felt it up to finish.
Gauge isn’t important, since it’s just a square and size is super flexible - pick a yarn, and use needles that work well with it (gauge can be on the loose side since you’ll be felting). If using worsted weight, you can choose the coaster-size or potholder-size pattern; use the any-gauge pattern included if using a different yarn weight or wanting to make a different sized square.
This pattern is part of the May leethal quick knits club mini-ebook, which also includes a pattern for the Picnic Wrapper, a tutorial for a recycled shirt pocket apron, and a meatless grilling mini-zine!
