Baudkin is a chilled, textured hat perfect for a one-off skein of pretty, handdyed DK yarn — or those two balls of double-knitting you have in your stash.

The name ‘Baudkin’ means a richly embroidered cloth or rich brocade in the Old Scots language, and the stitch pattern is inspired by the fine brocade textiles on display in Scottish museums.
