“Bats on a hat” is such a cute beanie. It’s perfect for those of us who like bats or of course to wear around Halloween time.
Knitted in the round with a two by two ribbed border in two colors and a simple stranded method that creates the adorable staggered bats. The crown is a full one as seen in some of the photos.

The pattern is entirely written, has a how float the stitches in the back Video Link and also offers a chart for the bat motif.

The pattern was updated on October 12 only for the L/XL size:
First Increase Round: (K6, KFB) rep to last st, K1. (105 sts)
Second Increase Round: (K6, KFB) rep to end. (120 sts)

There are two sizes to knit, a S/M and a L/XL size.
Small: Projected height 9”. Rib circumference 20”.
Large: Projected height 11.5”. Rib circumference 22”.
