This is an instant download PDF pattern for the Basic Ass Vest in unisex sizes S-3X.

This is an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern which requires pattern reading and provisional cast on knowledge.

Materials
10 mm (US 15) & 12 mm ((US 17), not 12.75 mm!) circular or straight needles
• The body can be knit on circular or straight needles
• Recommend 16” circulars for armhole ribbing and 48” circulars for the bottom and panel ribbing
Tapestry needle, Scissors, 3 removable stitch markers
Scrap yarn for provisional cast on
Optional:
• Toggle buttons
• Worsted weight yarn and suitable crochet hook for button loops
Super bulky yarn (6), approx. yardage for single color needed:
• S - 405 yards
• M - 475 yards
• L - 525 yards
• XL - 585 yards
• 2X - 650 yards
• 3X - 715 yards

Yardage is approximately 60% body color and 40% contrast color if doing two colors.

Gauge
4” = 8 stitches x 12 rows with super bulky yarn on 12 mm (US 17) needles.
