This is an instant download PDF pattern for the Secrets Sweater in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 2X and 3X.

This is an intermediate level pattern which uses DK (3) weight yarn. This sweater is designed to have a body skimming fit with cables running up the side seams and across the back. Please choose your size based on a measurement that is 2-4” MORE than your bust measurement.

Sweater Construction:
The body is knit from the bottom up, beginning with the ribbing and working in the round up to the armhole split. Underarm sts are bound off and body is split into front and back panels and worked flat for the upper body. Shoulders are grafted or seamed together and then neckline, and sleeves are picked up and knit in the round from the body. There are three sleeve lengths to choose from: full, elbow and short sleeve. The back cable is added after the neckline is complete.

4 mm (US 6) DPNs x 3
4.5 mm (US 7) 16” circular needles
4.5 mm (US 7) 32”+ circular needles

Approx. yardage for full sleeve (elbow sleeve, short sleeve):
• XS - 980 (775, 635) yards
• S - 1070 (860, 710) yards
• M - 1210 (980, 810) yards
• L - 1300 (1065, 885) yards
• XL - 1420 (1170, 970) yards
• 2X - 1510 (1255, 1050) yards
• 3X - 1645 (1385, 1150) yards

• Sizes are written in the pattern as XS (S, M, L) {XL, 2X, 3X} for bust sizes and finished measurements as follows:

o XS - 28-30” (71-76 cm) bust with finished circumference 32” (81 cm)
o S - 32-34” ( 81-86 cm) bust with finished circumference 36” (91 cm)
o M - 36-38” (91-96 cm) bust with finished circumference 40” (102 cm)
o L - 40-42” (101-106 cm) bust with finished circumference 44” (112 cm)
o XL - 44-46” (111-116 cm) bust with finished circumference 48” (122 cm)
o 2X - 48-50” (121-127 cm) bust with finished circumference 52” (132 cm)
o 3X - 52-54” (132-137 cm) bust with finished circumference 56” (142 cm)

Gauge
4” = 20 sts x 26 rows in stockinette with one strand of DK weight yarn on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles. Block before checking gauge!
