Bailar features gorgeous panels of dancing lace on the front and back, which are edged with narrow sections of stockinette. This vest is designed to be worn with open fronts; however, it can be belted or closed with a shawl pin. Relaxed, casual, and size inclusive, Bailar is perfect for layering in any season.

This loose fitting throw-over vest is knitted simply from the top in three pieces without any side shaping that could interfere with the panels. The meandering lace pattern is worked on the right and wrong sides, so it requires a bit of concentration at first, but it soon becomes easy because the actual lace shaping increases and decreases are very intuitive.
