Note
Cuff-down socks with a gusset heel. You could easily knit the whole sock without changing directions of the lace by simply working the whole leg and the whole foot all from Chart A, and maybe work the second sock from Chart B. Equally, you could change directions a lot more often, simply alternate Chart A and Chart B throughout the whole sock.
For a more advanced look, try running the lace pattern all the way into the toe. To achieve this, simply continue working the lace between the markers on the top of the foot.
Work the last two rows as plain knit to avoid having to graft into a yarnover. You could easily replace the heel with any alternative construction.

Note
足首から編む靴下. サンプルはレース模様の向きを変えながら編み進めているが, 向きを変えずに編むことも可能．その場合は片方はチャートAのみで, もう片方はチャートBのみで編むとよい.
また, レース模様の向きを頻繁に変えることも可能で, それぞれのチャートを交互に編むとよい.
レース模様をつま先まで続けて編んでもよいが, その場合は甲の目のマーカーの間でレース模様を編む. 最後のメリヤスはぎが複雑にならないように最後の2段はメリヤス編みをすることを推奨する. かかとは好みの方法で編んでもよい.
