Antirrhinum socks
This is the fifth pattern from A Year of Techniques - a collection of 12 patterns to teach you new knitting skills.
These cheerful socks, with their cheeky contrast toes, are a great introduction to a heel turn. Starting at the cuff with a twisted rib edging, the pattern then is worked in a simple lacy rib design. The heel is a classic heel flap and turn construction, and the pattern includes a photo tutorial on how to turn the heel, as well as stepwise instructions for picking up the stitches around the gusset.
The Antirrhinum socks are not available as a single pattern.
