The final zipper pouch size is approximately 9” x 5” depending on yarn, hook and tension.

The pattern includes written instructions, charts and some helpful hints and tips to make your project easier. There are also extensive instructions on how to insert the zipper and lining.

You will also receive Craft Pixie’s “Overlay Mosaic Crochet Stitch Directory”, which explains stitch placement, reading the charts and descriptions and some other, more general, hints and tips.

The pattern uses Overlay Mosaic Crochet techniques worked in the round – so no ends - and is suitable for a confident beginner.

You will need:

• All the usual notions.

• Around 40-50g of an aran weight (worsted weight category #4) yarn. The example pouches have been made in Stylecraft Special Aran (100% acrylic) and Rico Creative Cotton Aran (100% cotton).

• 4mm or 4.5mm hook depending on the look you want to achieve and/or your yarn and tension.

• A zipper at least 10” long (or longer) and have plastic teeth.

• A fat quarter of fabric for lining plus matching thread.
