It’s simple crochet and suitable for a confident beginner. All stitches and construction methods are discussed, although you will need to know how to slip stitch, chain, single crochet and half double crochet plus how to make a magic ring.

The pictured example was made using 12 flags. However, you can make as many or as few as you need.

Terms used are in US notation. However, it is easy to convert to UK style.
