The vest is knitted from the top down, back and forth on a circular needle.
The back yoke is worked with increases on each row, shaping the oblique shoulders. When the shoulder width has been reached, knit the yoke down to the bottom of the armhole, where the stitches are placed aside.
Pick up and knit stitches along the oblique shoulders for the front pieces, which are worked separately down to the bottom of the armhole.
The back and front pieces are gathered, and the body is knitted in one piece until it is finally divided with a slit in each side and ends with an edge in twisted rib and is bound off with an Italian bind-off.
Finally, pick up and knit stitches for the neck edge and front edges, also knitted in twisted rib and bound off using an Italian bind-off.
