Hat Sizes:
To fit a child (adult, XL adult):
Hat Circumference: 15” (18”, 21”) to fit a 15-18”
(19-21”, 22-25”) head.
Hat Height: 7” (8.5”, 8.5”)

Yarn:
MC: Malabrigo Rios (100% SW merino; 210 yd./100 g)
CC: Asylum Fibers Sparkle DK (75% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina; 231 yd./100 g) or other heavy dk or light worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors.

Yarn Usage: approximately 25 (35, 45) grams/
58 (80, 104) yards of each color.

Gauge:
21 sts and 26 rows over 4” in stranded colorwork, with larger needle, after blocking.

Suggested Needles:
16” circular needles in US 5 and 7.
DPNs or other preferred method in size 7.

Notes: If you are a tight knitter, you may wish to go up a needle size from what is suggested.

When knitting, keep floats long enough for the hat to remain stretchy. This will ensure a comfortable fit.
