Afghan Stitch Wire Bracelet
Did you know that you can work the afghan stitch in wire instead of yarn or thread? You can, but you might be surprised to see what the results look like. I've posted the project pics at my website, so please drop by to see them if you're curious about how this little experiment of mine turned out.
If you want to crochet this bracelet, you'll utilize three techniques to do so:
- Wire crochet
- Bead crochet
- Tunisian crochet
This is a challenging pattern, but even if you don't think of yourself as an advanced crocheter, I hope that won't stop you from dropping by to take a look. If you are interested in Tunisian crochet, I think you will be fascinated to see how different afghan stitch looks when you crochet it in wire rather than yarn. I sure was!
Gauge is not important for this pattern, because the width of the bracelet can be flexible. The most important dimension -- the circumference -- is determined by the number of rows you crochet.
