I am always hungry for new challenges especially in knitting. The more complicated knitting I come across it is even more likely the next new thing on my needles in a couple of weeks.
Last year it was nålbindning, before that was spindle and spinning wheel. Lately I have been experimenting with entrelac, brioche and doubleknitting.
For some time now I have realised that I really enjoy reading knitting/crochet patterns. I read them like other people read short stories/crime novels/poems. I also try to write patterns myself, but somehow creating and knitting/crocheting is much more ‘my thing’ than writing. My writing gets disturbed easily by my ‘testing another new idea’. Making comes first and writing much later :o)
