I have been knitting (and occasionally crocheting) for years, but started designing after the birth of my eldest son. I created the jester egg cosy, Only Yolking, for a competition, and it ended up featuring on the cover of a book. This spurred me on to design other things and many of my designs feature in kits and classes at a LYS.

An engineer by training, I love to knit and create art and when I can combine the two - I can really have some fun! When I’m not bringing up my boys, watching ice hockey or going to gigs, I knit, make jewelry and stitch markers and organise a local fibre festival - The Fibre Shindig.
