Merino Tencel Sock

Tencel is a fibre that is made from wood pulp. In contrast to wool or silk, this durable fibre does not take dyes well and so it adds a very unique shine to the 50/50 blend. It has a soft finish and it is light. What it doesn’t have is stretch but is noted for its durability and strength. I love the feel of this yarn for knitting shawls, scarves and gloves/gauntlettes. Because there isn’t a lot of stretch, choosing a suitable sock pattern would be important.
