100% Organic Merino spun on a water powered mill in the UK. It’s soft and sproingy, all the things a merino should be. It’s a little thicker than the regular sock yarn, but can be knitted on the same 2.75mm (US size 2) needles for a firm-ish knitted fabric, larger needles (and fewer stitches) will make for a slightly looser but speedier knit. It’s some way between a 4 ply and a British Double Knitting weight. The base fibre is from New Zealand, not mulesed, and is spun in the UK.
